This guy? How can he help me?

I’m an experienced executive in multiple areas. Image this, you’ve been in a first career for 18 years, having earned everything you could possibly dream. Recognized as top achiever at the youngest age in the nation (WY-POY at 31), recognized on a national level by your peers, terminal degree on a personal education level, recognized by your peers and colleagues locally and statewide, selected to statewide and national roles to represent change and establishing a culture to meet metrics serving the customer, but you are feeling stale each day going into the office. You’ve taken positions that required significant turn-around skills, positions that were doomed to be horridly difficult just for the challenge in knowing you could overcome the apathy to improve the entire organization. You’ve led through tremendous emotional crisis to an organization to return normalcy albeit in emergency conditions and moved the organization forward to recovery. Sound familiar? Ready to branch out and take a new challenge?

I understand you and the risks that you feel – been there, done that. I was a highly recognized high school principal for 15 years and gave it up to join the startup technology world. I’ve loved it every moment, even when the ups and downs have accompanied. Verticals close, partnerships eliminate the role, or company decides to prepare for IPO, clears significant “over head” and then doesn’t go IPO, three senior executives in 4 months due to re-org…, yet it’s all been a fun learning experience. You may note that I have been at every level of the startup environment, pre funding stage through Series and VC to beyond. I like it, and I love the pace of tech startups. I’ve led many a scrum at 10:30. AM and PM that is, yes night time too, so the teams on both sides of the world can be on the same page driving forward to meet the customers’ expectation. Let’s get to know what you want, what motivates you and what your strengths are to place you in your next “most enthralling” opportunity and bring that zest back into each day!
